India Audit Lens
Navigate the workspace, dashboard, and search
AuditLens uses three navigation layers: the module rail for firm-wide areas, a contextual sidebar for the selected module/client/engagement, and the header for search, AuditIQ, collaboration, notifications, theme,…

Understand the layout
The left module rail opens firm-wide areas such as Home, Clients, Compliance, Documents, People, Services, and Knowledge Base. CRM, Billing, Quality, and Reports appear only when your role has the required access. Settings is at the bottom.
Contextual sidebar
The second sidebar changes with your location:
Under Home, it contains Dashboard, My Work, Clients, Engagements, and Activity Log. Inside a client, it contains client profile, Returns, audit, compliance details, team, documents, data sources, and communication. Inside an engagement, it contains planning, data, reconciliation, examination, audit files, review, and sign-off.
Use the firm dashboard
Click Home, then Dashboard. Review Due now. A return marked Filed should have independently bound filing evidence; an internal prepared or approved state is not the same as filed. Review the GST, TDS/TCS, ITR, and Audits cards for work requiring attention. Open Needs attention to investigate reconciliation warnings or blocking gates. Use Engagements in motion to open an active engagement. Use Import data or New engagement only after confirming the intended client and period.
Dashboard counts follow your permissions and available firm data. Two users may see different cards or counts.
Search or jump to a page
Click Search or jump to… or press Cmd+K on macOS / Ctrl+K on Windows. Enter a page or action, such as “clients.” Use the arrow keys or pointer to select the result. Press Enter or click the result. Press Esc to close the palette without navigating.
The palette can show Quick Actions such as Create New Client and pages such as Dashboard, Clients, and Settings. A quick action opens the relevant form; it does not silently create a record.
Change the theme
Click the header theme control to switch between light and dark modes. Theme changes affect display only; they do not change exported report branding.
Expected result
The selected page opens, its item is highlighted in the navigation, and the breadcrumb identifies your current context.
