Pair and review a Tally Bridge

Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Tally Bridge. Click Pair new bridge. Follow the pairing wizard on the approved Windows service/device. Confirm the firm and pairing identity before completing the local pairing step. Return to Tally bridges and click Refresh. Open the bridge to review device status, linked companies, sync/freshness, snapshots, and drift.

A bridge can serve one or more clients, but each client engagement must use the intended company and snapshot. Legal hold/lock actions preserve evidence and should not be changed casually.

Configure AI

Navigate to Settings → Integrations → AI. Set Enable AI features according to firm policy. Choose the Default provider. Enter the provider API key in the password-style field. Existing configured keys are not shown back in plaintext. Choose the approved model. Click the provider connection-test action and check the returned provider/model result. Configure Max tokens, Temperature, Monthly budget (USD), and Max LLM calls per audit run under the firm’s cost and quality policy. Save and wait for AI settings saved successfully.

Do not paste API keys into screenshots. If a key may have been exposed, revoke it at the provider and replace it; masking a screenshot does not make a compromised key safe.

Review GST API credits

Navigate to Settings → Integrations → GST API Credits. Review the active pack, balance, usage, and history. Click Refresh before a time-sensitive provider operation. Use the approved purchase route if the balance is insufficient and the action is enabled.

Credits power provider-backed functions such as GSTIN verification, GSTR fetching, and IRN-related validation. Credits alone do not guarantee filing: credentials, portal session, GSTIN/period, readiness, review, and statutory controls still apply.

Configure firm email delivery

Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Email Settings. Configure Email Delivery according to the firm policy. Under SMTP Server Settings, enter SMTP host, Port, TLS/SSL choice, SMTP username, and the approved app password/secret. Under Sender Details, enter From email, From name, and Reply-to email. Enable only the required Email Types. Configure Email Template Branding: logo URL, header colour, support email, and website URL. Save and wait for Firm email configuration saved successfully. Enter a controlled internal test address and click the test-email action. Confirm delivery and review…

Manage email templates

Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Email Templates. Search or filter by category. Create a new template or edit a firm-owned template. Enter a unique Template name, Subject line, and message body. Insert merge fields using the field picker; do not invent unsupported variables. Click Preview with synthetic data and fix any syntax error. Save.

Use Reset to default or Delete only after confirming the target and downstream email type.
