Triage and disposition findings

Open Audit Files → Findings → Findings. Group by Audit Area, Severity or Status, and use the displayed evidence/impact to prioritise. Open a finding row to inspect its source check, affected population, evidence, financial impact, linked workpaper and current review/disposition. In Disposition, choose only an available valid next state. For Clear, Waive or Resolve, enter a specific reason referencing the evidence and work performed. Verify the updated status and audit trail.

For a bulk change, select only findings that share the same justified outcome, choose a common status, add the required reason and click Apply. If no common transition exists, narrow the selection rather than working around the lifecycle.

Review and communicate a finding

A manager opens the finding and clicks Manager review after checking the evidence and disposition. The assigned partner independently clicks Partner review when the required level is reached. Confirm the M/P badge and reviewer/time evidence. Use client-visible communication only through its approval/visibility workflow; do not paste internal observations, AI narratives or privileged working comments into client-facing fields. Close or reopen through the permitted transition and document why. Reopening invalidates the prior conclusion for the changed matter.

Build the SA 450 schedule

Open Audit Files → Misstatements (SA 450). Confirm that the source finding is quantified and that overall, performance and trivial materiality are current. Choose Factual, Judgmental or Projected in Type. Expand the row and set affected statement (PL, BS or BOTH) and direction (Overstate or Understate). Hover the amount to review its formula, basis and citation. If the supported assessed amount differs, click the edit control, enter the non-negative amount and save. The manual badge records the override; preserve the calculation evidence. Record management's response. Toggle Corrected only…

The verdict updates live but does not save itself. A recorded evaluation is a timestamped snapshot; re-record it after a material change and explain why.

Expected result

Every finding has a supportable lifecycle state and role-appropriate review; client visibility is controlled; the SA 450 schedule correctly classifies and aggregates quantified matters; and the final evaluation snapshot/export agrees with the report conclusion.
