Manage engagement team, disclosures, links, and activity

Use the engagement's in-page tabs to assign participants, connect related records, capture non-ledger disclosure facts, and review the file's activity trail.

Add or remove a team member

Open the engagement and choose Team. Click Add Member. Choose Firm Team for firm staff or Client Team for an authorised client contact. Select the person and engagement role. Confirm that partner, manager, preparer/reviewer, independence and client-visibility rules are satisfied. Click Add Member. Verify the Firm/Client badge and role in the table.

Before removing/changing a member, reassign owned tasks, findings, requests and review work. Client contacts should receive only the access intentionally granted for the engagement; adding them does not make internal evidence client-visible by default.

Review engagement connections

Open Connections. Review linked documents, clients, engagements or other supported record types. Open a connection to verify the target and your access. Add a connection by selecting the supported type and exact target. Remove an incorrect connection only after confirming it is a link, not the underlying record.

Connections are navigation/context links. They do not copy evidence or override permissions.

Capture disclosure inputs

Structured Disclosure Inputs store facts that may not come from the ledger but feed financial statement notes or audit procedures.

Open Disclosures (or Disclosure Inputs, as labelled in the engagement navigation). Expand the relevant section. Enter required dates, text, choices or schedule rows. Attach/cross-reference the underlying evidence in the approved workpaper location. Click Save. Reopen the section and verify that the values persisted. Revisit affected financial statements/disclosure checks after changing a saved input.

Do not use a disclosure input to adjust ledger balances. Use a supported adjustment/reclassification and preserve the reconciliation between ledger and disclosure facts.

Review the activity log

Open Activity Log inside the engagement. Filter by actor, action and date where available. Review creation, edits, imports, status changes, approvals and other file events. Open event detail or export only when authorised and required for evidence. Compare the activity record with the underlying saved state; an activity entry does not prove the professional conclusion was correct.

Activity history is evidence. Do not delete/recreate work to obscure an earlier action.

Expected result

The engagement has the correct internal/client participants and roles, verified record links, complete evidence-backed disclosure inputs, and a traceable activity history.
