Review your subscription, plans, and custom domains
Subscription settings show the firm’s current plan, usage, and billing history. Custom domains let an eligible firm use an approved firm-owned address for the auditor workspace, client portal, or both.

Review subscription and usage
Navigate to Settings → General → Subscription. Review the current plan and subscription status. Check each usage meter against its plan limit. Review the subscription or billing history for changes and effective dates. Click Choose Plan or the available upgrade action to compare plans.
If the firm is in trial, past due, suspended, expired, or near a limit, resolve the status before a time-sensitive filing or engagement deadline. Plan limits can hide or block features even when a user has the correct role.
Compare plans
Open Choose Plan or /plans. Compare entitlements, usage limits, add-ons, billing period, and effective price. Identify the features your firm actually needs, including custom-domain or integration gates. Review the effective date and payment/billing hand-off. Complete a plan change only under your firm’s purchase authority.
The manual must not imply that clicking Choose Plan silently purchases or activates a plan. Follow the confirmation and billing steps shown for the firm.
Add a custom domain
Custom domains are plan-gated.
Navigate to Settings → General → Custom Domains. Click Add custom domain. Enter the subdomain, for example audit.example.com. AuditLens does not support an apex/bare domain such as example.com for this flow. Choose Use this domain for: the auditor workspace; the client portal, when the plan supports it; or both, if that option is available and intended. Click Continue. Open the DNS instructions and add the displayed records at the firm’s DNS provider. Return to AuditLens and click Verify. When verification succeeds, enable the domain and make it primary only after testing it.
One client-portal domain can serve all of the firm’s clients. Portal users are still isolated by their account and client assignment.
Manage an existing domain
Set primary makes the verified domain the preferred workspace address. Unset primary returns the workspace to the standard address or another primary domain. Disable stops normal use while preserving the record. Enable starts verification again when required. Remove is destructive. Confirm that no users, bookmarks, emails, or integrations depend on the domain before removal.
Expected result
A verified domain shows an active/verified state. The chosen primary domain opens the correct auditor or portal experience over a valid secure connection.
