Create a lead

Open CRM → All Leads and click New Lead. Enter required contact person, valid email, phone and lead source. Add company/entity, industry/location, expected fee/close date, priority and notes as authorised. Click Create Lead and verify it in the register.

Search/filter the list and click a row for the Lead Detail drawer. Everyone with CRM access sees the shared register; do not store unnecessary personal or confidential audit data.

Maintain detail and activity

Update the status from the list or drawer. Use Log Call, Log Email, Log WhatsApp, Log Meeting or Log Activity. Enter date, summary, outcome, next action and follow-up date, then save. In CRM → Activities, filter/search the day-grouped read-only timeline and click the lead footer to return to detail. Refresh the activity screen after a new log; it does not continuously poll.

Create and review proposals

Open the lead's Proposals tab and click New Proposal. Enter services/fee, discount/final fee and Valid Until date; save as a new version. Use CRM → Proposals to review firm-wide totals and filter Draft/Sent/Accepted/Rejected/Expired. Click the contact/company to reopen the lead for edits/follow-up. The Proposals register is a roll-up; creation/editing remains on the lead.

Convert a won lead

Confirm the prospect has accepted, duplicates have been checked and client-master data is suitable. Click Convert / Convert to Client and confirm. Verify the lead is Won and linked to the newly created client. Complete the client onboarding/acceptance workflow; conversion is not acceptance approval.

Expected result

The lead record, status, follow-up history and proposal versions are current; conversion creates one client only after acceptance of the work; and onboarding continues in the client workflow.
