Prepare the configuration
Obtain approved report letterhead/logo and optional stamp assets. Confirm the firm's current report layout standard and accessibility/print requirements. Obtain the authorised signatory list and current membership numbers. Do not prefill a UDIN unless it belongs to a particular report context and the firm's control permits storage here; never use a synthetic or reused UDIN in a final report. Prepare a synthetic report with long headings, tables, notes, signatures, and multiple pages.
Configure identity and signatories
Navigate to Settings → Customization → Report Branding. Under logo/letterhead, upload the approved asset and select Position and Size. Enter Signing Place. Add each signatory and complete Name, M. No., Role, and UDIN only as authorised. Remove obsolete signatories after checking pending report drafts. Upload the optional stamp and select its position.
A configured signatory is a default choice, not evidence that the person approved or signed an engagement report.
Configure page layout
Enter approved Header Text and Footer Text. Set Primary and Secondary colours. Choose Font, Header Style, and Table Style. Enter Top, Bottom, Left, and Right margins. Choose Page Numbering and Number Position. If a preset is used, review every field it changed before saving.
Configure a watermark
Enable the watermark control. Enter Text, normally a controlled label such as DRAFT. Set opacity so the label is visible without obscuring report text. Generate a multi-page draft and inspect charts, tables, annexures, and signature pages. Remove/alter the watermark only at the appropriate review/finalisation stage.
Save and test downstream outputs
Click the page save action and wait for Branding settings saved. Generate a new synthetic audit-report PDF and Management Deck. Inspect page breaks, logo resolution, header/footer collision, table width, colour contrast, numbering, watermark, signatory values, and stamp location. Test both screen and print/PDF views. Confirm old downloaded files remain unchanged; regenerate only controlled drafts that should use the new configuration.
Expected result
Newly generated drafts consistently apply approved firm branding and layout. Signatory/UDIN values remain engagement-specific professional controls and are verified before finalisation.
