Procedure, powers and definitions

  • 42 omissionThe whole section stands omitted from 1 October 2022 under section 107 of the Finance Act 2022.

Section 42, formerly governing matching, reversal and reclaim of input tax credit, was omitted from 1 October 2022 by section 107 of the Finance Act 2022. The omission displaces the former section. Its earlier scheme matched inward-supply claims, addressed discrepancies and duplication, and linked additions, reclaim and interest. Those provisions are historical wording following omission.[1]
