GST›CGST Act, 2017›Section 2, definitions

These definitions identify the supplier, recipient and persons acting through agents. The recipient depends on who owes consideration or, without consideration, who receives the goods, their possession or use, or the service. Agents acting for suppliers and recipients are included. From 1 October 2023, the specified actionable-claim organiser proviso deems the organiser a supplier.[1]
