Procedure, powers and definitions

  • Rule 32AFor a supply on which Kerala Flood Cess is levied under clause 14 of the Kerala Finance Bill, 2019, the deemed value follows section 15 and excludes that cess.

Rule 32A applies when Kerala Flood Cess is levied on a supply under the specified Kerala provision. It uses the value determined under section 15 but excludes the cess itself. The rule therefore depends on an applicable cess levy; it does not establish the charging period or independently show that a particular supply attracts that levy.[1]
